The new Apple iPhone 15 and other tech news will be unveiled to the world in two weeks. While the event is expected to be pre-recorded, Apple invites the media to campus to watch the presentation in person and presumably try out new devices after the launch.
Apple’s September event is traditionally an iPhone event. This year, the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected. All models are expected to have an updated 5G chip from Qualcomm built in and feature a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port.
Titanium instead of stainless steel for iPhone 15 Pro
Additional feature updates will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max that will not be available for the standard iPhone 15 models. A slight redesign is expected, with narrower bezels and minor changes to the rounding of the corners. In addition, the “iPhone 15 Pro” models are expected to have a titanium frame instead of a stainless steel frame.
